Here I will show you the Saabs that I own, or have owned in the last few years. At the bottom I will add the Saabs that my father has owned recently. Click on any of the images to see them full size.

My first Saab. A blue 1992 9000 CS 2.3 Turbo.I will start with the first Saab that I bought. It was a 1992 Saab 9000 CS 2.3Turbo in blue. This car had the 2.3Litre Full Blown Turbo engine, producing 200Bhp. The only downside on this car was the fact that it was an automatic, but even so the performance was excellent.

My c900 T16S. This is a 1988 T16S in white. The next car that I bought was my 1988 c900 T16S, in white, the project car. This car has the 2.0Litre Full Blown Turbo engine and produces 175Bhp. The handling of this car is superior to the 9000 and makes the car more enjoyable to drive. As you can see from the photo's though, this car did not come with the standard wheels of the T16S, the 3 spoke Aero wheels.

My 1987 9000 Turbo. A 2.0Litre full turbo in the early body style of the 9000.I was then offered the chance to buy a 1987 9000 Turbo in silver. This car was the 2.0Litre Full Blown Turbo producing 175Bhp the same as the c900. I also managed to get hold of the red APC box for this car which pushed it up to about 200Bhp. Surprisingly it also improved the fuel economy on a cruise, I managed to get about 42mpg.

My 1989 9000 Turbo. A light blue full blown turbo. The next Saab I got hold of was a 1989 9000 turbo in light blue. This car was basically the same as the 1987 car, but had the Direct Ignition module instead of a Distributor and plug leads. The power output was still the same. As you can see from the picture I had by then got a set of Aero alloy wheels.

My 1997 9000 Anniversary in Amethyst Violet. Then I had a 1997 Saab 9000 2.0Litre LPT Anniversary in amethyst violet. The 2.0Litre Light Pressure Turbo engine only produces 154Bhp, but it is still a pleasure to drive. This car was one of the last edition 9000's. It came packed with extra goodies and the full Aero bodykit, and leather seats embossed with the Saab aeroplane logo. As you can see from the picture the Aero wheels got transferred over. The car also now has a full set of Aero Leather seats and door cards.

My 2000 9-5 Wagon 2.3Litre SE in Green. My last car was a 2000 Saab 9-5 Estate 2.3Litre SE LPT Auto in Green. The 2.3Litre Light Pressure Turbo produces 170Bhp, was a very smooth car to drive.

My 2001 9-5 Aero Estate in Grey.My current car is a 2001 Saab 9-5 Aero Estate in Grey. Again this is a 2.3Litre turbo engine, but this time it is a HOT(High Output Turbo). This model produces 230Bhp. It has black leather seats with the front ones being more of a bucket seat than the standard Saabs.

1981 c900 8v Turbo in brownThis is the first of my dad's recent Saabs. It is a brown 1981 c900 Turbo 8v. This car was a full Blown 2.0Litre Turbo producing 145Bhp. This car had the early Metric wheels.

1985 Saab c900 T16SThis Saab is the car that replaced the 8v Turbo. It is a 1985 c900 T16S. This car, being one of the early T16S's, had a different cylinder head. It had what has got the name as the "hairy cam" head. The inlet camshaft had 2 stage lobes on it and was ported differently. This was supposed to give it around 200Bhp instead of 175. The car certainly was quick.
